The Miracle of the Golden Dove and Other Stories contains fifteen inspiring tales drawn from the lives of the great Sages. Through these stories, children will learn invaluable lessons that they are sure to draw upon throughout their lives. Children will also enjoy learning about their heritage and the lives of the great Sages, while reading or listening to these inspirational stories. In writing this book, Genendel Krohn has used traditional sources such as the Talmud and Midrash, but has rewritten these stories especially for children. Original sources are noted, and at the end of each story, Krohn provides a brief review of the lesson learned in the story.
Included in this collection are included stories about Rabbi Akiva, Rav Safra, Nachum Ish Gamzu, Rabbi Meir, Rabban Gamliel, Rabbi Yehuda ben Beseira, and many more. All the stories are accompanied by colorful illustration by Tova Katz. A glossary of Hebrew and Yiddish words used in the book, has also been included.
